Evangelist Missionary Mollie Mary Scott

Evangelist Missionary Mollie Mary Scott

Mollie Mary Jackson was born May 10, 1927 to Mr. and Mrs. Mack and Annie Dunbar Jackson of Texas.
She accepted Christ in 1949 and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at Holy Temple COGIC under the
leadership of Elder D. S. Lacy. She was called into the missionary field where she served faithfully. She later
moved to Portland, Oregon, where she was a licensed Evangelist Missionary under the tutelage of  Oregon State
Supervisor Mother Louie. She was known best as a mighty intercessor with demonstrated miracles
throughout her ministry. She met and was united in holy matrimony to Elder Isaac Scott. Elder Scott was a
mighty man of god who was known as a “Walking Bible”. Elder Scott was called to the ministry of
pastorialship and “Do Right Church of God In Christ was established. The ministry operated in the five fold
and many souls were saved. She gave her undying support to her husband to build the ministry. She was a
woman on a mission with compassion for God’s people and his work. The mission birthed out a vision to go
beyond the four walls of the church.

She founded and began “The Prayer Rescue Mission” in Portland, Oregon. The lord gave her a vision that
there would be a great famine and a great day of wrath coming. She wanted to have a ministry to meet the
needs of the community. The Prayer Rescue Mission provided food, clothes, utility and rental assistance,
household goods, counseling and prayer. She wanted to meet the natural needs of people first then the spiritual
needs. The lord put his seal on the vision, through many generous contributions in goods and monetary gifts.
She was given a building headquarters to contain and further the mission. The favor of God made rich and
added no sorrow. She wasn’t satisfied with local missions only. She wanted to take her message and mission
globally. She began to write her vision and make it plain to government officials and President Nixon. She
began to receive correspondence from President Nixon. She solicited the aid of global and local government
officials to further the ministry. The ministry began to receive an abundance of donations and items to further
the mission.

She continued to fulfill the call of ministry, which brought her national recognition in the COGIC. Her
notable message “Who Is Left Among You?” Pentecost At Any Cost! Haggai 2:9. This message spoke of
judgment to the land, to repent and do your first works over. This great message was published in the national
COGIC newsletter “The Whole Truth”, in the December 1982 issue. This message made a worldwide impact on
believers and sinners everywhere. Many doors of ministry and speaking engagements opened for her ministry.
She worked tirelessly to fulfill the call of God. She went home to be with the lord on July 10, 1985. The
mantle has been placed upon us to continue where she left off. We will carry out her vision and do greater
works in Jesus name.

She had spiritual eyes to prepare me for this day in ministry. She imparted in me so early and I didn't understand until this today!
